There's a crack, a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in.
When the state of the world has felt too dark, this line from Leonard Cohen's Anthem has been a refrain for me.
I got to share this meaningful song at the VOX Femina Los Angeles cabaret last month. Thanks to Lisa Edwards for the beautiful collaboration on piano, to Missy Nieto for producing the gorgeous evening, and to Jennifer Miller Hammel for hosting! This is my third season with VOX, and I love being part of such a beautiful artist community.
