I recorded this quiet take on "His Eye is on the Sparrow" in my closet for my mom in 2015 and laid it over birdsong that I recorded just before dawn from my balcony in Venice while traveling in Europe back in 2009. In the current state of global anxiety, this song has come back to my mind often, and I thought I'd share it with you now. I recently made the accompanying collage while sheltering in place.
