Markie in Milwaukee

I joined The Silver Lake Chorus in singing the opening music for Markie in Milwaukee, a documentary film about a middle-aged trans woman living in Milwaukee and struggling to find acceptance in her family, her church, and herself. Keep an eye out here for upcoming screenings and other ways to watch this film. #tslc #thesilverlakechorus #markieinmilwaukee #sessionsinger #filmmusic #soundtrack

The Golden Age

The Golden Age film is out now on Amazon Prime Video. This project is the product of a 10-year labor of love by singer/songwriter Justin Connor. Recording the gospel choir (at about 3:00 in the track below) was one of the first film sessions I recorded when I moved to LA, and it's nice to see this epic project come to fruition! #sessionsinger #filmmusic

Hotel trio

I loved making music with these two last night. Let’s do it again soon! 🤩 #singersongwriter #sessionsinger #filmmusic #gamemusic #hotelcafesecondstage

Escaping Fed is a new documentary telling the terrifying true story of C. Kimberly Toms and the abuse she suffered at the hands of a U.S. government official. Stefan Swanson composed the original score for this film and included my vocals for this stirring original song Running. #filmmusic #sessionsinger #documentaryfilm

Joining the Bellas

I had so much fun adding some additional vocals and sweetening for the Bellas for the latest Pitch Perfect release. Last call, pitches! Check out PP3 this weekend! #sessionsinger #filmmusic #pp3 #pitchperfect

PP3 Soundtrack

The Pitch Perfect 3 soundtrack is out today! You can hear me in Toxic, the Riff Off, Cheap Thrills, and more! #sessionsinger #filmmusic

The Layover

I had so much fun in studio several months back with William H. Macy himself as director! I was there to record a bop called This Could Be My Lucky Day that plays at a key moment in his new film The Layover, out this week. Thanks to Bianca Caruso, who also wrote the song, for bringing me in for this fun project! #sessionsinger #filmmusic

First session at Capitol Studios!

I got to follow in the footsteps of The Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Billie Holiday, and so many of LA's amazing session singers this weekend, recording my first session at the iconic Capitol Studios! I'm grateful for the work and the awesome opportunity to spend some time in that famous tower. #sessionsinger #filmmusic #capitolstudios

Sing Soundtrack

The Sing soundtrack is out today! Squeee! You can hear my on a bunch of tracks, but I'm especially proud of my contributions to Auditions, Shake It Off, and the surprise banger OH.MY.GOSH! #sessionsinger #filmmusic #charactervoices #sweetening

Good Grief

Congratulations to my friend Brandon Ford Green on the successful premiere of his feature film Good Grief at the NoHo Cinefest yesterday. I'm honored to have had my original song, Cool, in this wonderful film! #sessionsinger #singersongwriter #filmmusic

The Interview

My first SAG-AFTRA gig last year was singing for the movie, The Interview. The song got cut from the movie, but it made it to the soundtrack, and here it is now! Enjoy. 🙂 I appreciate how it's a bit of a cross section of my LA and Korean lives. #sessionsinger #theinterview #filmmusic
